Hidrogeomorfologia em confluência fluvial obtusa, Guarapuava, Paraná

Solid and liquid mixtures in river courses intensify areas of confluence, conditioned mainly by the angular opening junction. Knowledge hydrosedimentological dynamics bedrock junctions with different openings is essential for understanding morphological adjustment at confluences supporting actions preservation conservation ecosystems. For this reason, article presents results a hydrogeomorphologic study on confluence an obtuse junction angle (>100º), plateau river, Serra Geral Formation. The research evaluated fluvial segment upstream downstream Pedras River Pombas tributary, Guarapuava, Paraná, through observations measurements hydraulic characteristics, width, talweg depth, bed declivity bankfull flow. Morphological peculiar that conditions specific flow, erosion, sediment transport deposition dynamics, resulting from its association geological nature types land use management confluence.
